S.H.I.N.E. is the name of our young adults ministry for adults 20-35 years old at Saint James. This ministry promotes spiritual growth as well as social and outreach opportunities that include connecting with community organizations to help our neighbors, spoken word, social gatherings at local restaurants, relevant topics and studying the Word, community service and a whole lot more. 

61 Third Graders Receive Christmas Gifts!

We are moving beyond the walls! In December, SHINE collected gifts and donations to give gifts to three classes of third graders. On December 22nd we delivered gift bags including dolls, action figures, tea sets, school supplies, footballs, basket balls, games, hats, gloves and even coats for some children. Pics will be coming soon.

One 3rd grader touched our hearts, "I was not going to get anything for Christmas, now I’ve got Christmas. Thank you!”

Household Items Drive for New Refugees -- A Big Success!

Recently, S.H.I.N.E. collected truck loads of furniture and household items to help new Greensboro refugees.
